Your phone number is used to verify your identity via SMS when you sign in. You may also provide content for event pages, messages to other users, or profile details like a bio or photo. Automated Collection: When you use the Services, we automatically collect technical data, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and usage statistics such as the pages you visit and the time spent on them. Cookies and Tracking: We use cookies and similar technologies to track platform usage, improve your experience, and assist with security.

3. How We Use Your Information

Service Provision: To create and maintain your account, facilitate event planning and ticketing, and provide customer support. Communication: To respond to your requests and send important notifications, such as security alerts and administrative messages. Safety and Security: To detect and prevent fraudulent or illegal activity and to protect the rights and safety of our members. Legal Obligations: To comply with applicable laws, respond to subpoenas, or assist law enforcement.

4. How We Share Your Information

With Other Users: Certain information, such as your public profile, may be displayed to other users. For example, when you register for an event, your details may be shared with the event host. Service Providers: We work with trusted partners to handle functions like payment processing (Stripe), authentication and data storage (Google Firebase), and analytics. Legal and Business Transfers: We may disclose information to protect our legal rights or in connection with a merger, sale, or business reorganization.

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to mitigate the risk of unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. While we strive to protect your personal information, please be aware that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Opt-Outs: You may opt out of receiving marketing communications or withdraw consent for data sharing at any time. 8. SMS/Text Messaging Data

We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in status with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is used to send Rendezoo text messages only when you separately opt in: a one-time confirmation for a specific ticket purchase, or recurring promotional messages about upcoming events. One-time account-verification codes are delivered separately by Google Firebase Authentication, are not part of either Rendezoo SMS program, and receiving one does not opt you in to any Rendezoo text messages. We record the verified number, consent type, source, and time of each SMS choice so that each message can be tied to the consent you provided. Promotional message frequency varies; a ticket-confirmation opt-in produces one message for that purchase. 9. Children's Privacy

Rendezoo is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals below this age.

10. International Data Transfers

By using our Services, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where we operate, which may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.
